Auto Macro Generation - Do you accelerate?
Now we are moving further away from the URC style of programming do you accelerate and delete/edit the macros or create everything from scratch?
Does accelerating do anything other than create macros? For example, does it affect room/device tracking?
Don't think you can skip that step - i think it creates all your device and room power on/off macros as well. So, yes I accelerate and modify/delete as needed.
It does but it is possible to create all of those manually.
Looking forward to Dash React the room power off wouldn't even be a macro, it would be a variable change with the macro being a seperate device event.
I also accelerate and delete & modify but the more Dash-centric my programming is becoming I find I'm deleting & modifyng pretty much everything!
yeah. definitely a lot more deleting and modifying now!
You should definitely still be Accelerating everytime device changes are made. This completes the backend tracking within URC. Even if you manually rebuild evey macro, its still important to Accelerate.last edited by
Thanks Spin, good to know.
If there was a "SOLVED" button, I'd click it!
If you click "Topic Tools" you can mark something as a "QuestioN" - then you can mark it as solved and upvote the right answerlast edited by
